Comparison

MARAPONE
vs AUTODESK CONSTRUCTION CLOUD AI.

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) bundles BIM, document management, and AI features for design-led teams. Marapone is five focused reading programs on a published per-firm subscription. Different shape, different price, often complementary.

TL;DR

THREE BULLETS

When ACC AI is best

Your firm is design-build or BIM-heavy, you live inside Revit + ACC, and the AI features tied to model coordination matter most.

When Marapone is best

You're a GC whose pain is in RFI/email/document chaos rather than model coordination, and you want a system that runs on your infrastructure.

The honest middle

ACC for the BIM side, Marapone for the project-administration side. We integrate with ACC as a source.

When ACC AI is the better fit

Stick with ACC if…

  • • Design coordination, clash detection, and BIM-driven workflows are where you spend most of your time.
  • • Your firm is already paying for ACC and the marginal AI cost is small.
  • • You don't need workflows beyond what Autodesk ships.
  • • You're fine with SaaS-only deployment.

When Marapone is the better fit

Pick Marapone if…

  • • Your real pain is RFI backlogs, daily logs, and change-order chaos — not model coordination.
  • • You'd rather pay per firm than per seat, and be live the same day.
  • • You want to ingest from Revit/Bluebeam/Outlook/SharePoint at the same time, in one system.
  • • You're done paying per-user for the same workflows year after year.

TCO COMPARISON

Indicative numbers for a 30-user team. ACC list pricing varies — use your contract numbers.

MARAPONE

$2,490/yr

All five live programs in your browser, five seats, billed yearly at ten months — or $249 a month with no commitment. $5,490/yr takes it to twenty seats with priority processing. Not everyone in a 30-person shop needs a seat; estimators and PMs do.

No implementation fee, no per-module pricing, no annual lock-in.

Year 1: $2,490 · Year 5: $2,490 — flat, priced per firm

ACC AI add-on (illustrative)

~$60/user/mo

On top of base ACC seat. Public list pricing varies.

30 users × $60 × 12 = ~$21,600/yr.

Year 1: ~$21,600 · Year 5: ~$108,000

Where these numbers come from

Autodesk publishes no list price — pricing is quoted by their sales team against your own volume and module mix. The figure above is our estimate of a common band, not a quote, not a published rate, and not something we can source to Autodesk. We show it only to make the shape of a per-user cost visible next to a per-firm one. Treat your own quote as the only real number.
