THE FREE ASSESSMENT
When you submit the free 24-hour assessment, you send us one document. Here is exactly what happens to it:
- The file is transmitted over HTTPS and held in a secure, isolated storage environment (Supabase Storage). It is not emailed directly — it is scanned for malware via VirusTotal before any human reviews it.
- The document is used only to generate your assessment report. It is not used to train any model, shared with any third party, or retained after the report is delivered.
- If you are concerned about sensitivity, you can redact or anonymize the document before sending. The system can extract meaningful findings from partially redacted documents in most cases.
- Signed access URLs for stored files expire after 7 days. Files are deleted after the assessment is complete.

DURING THE BUILD
During the scoping and build phase, you provide sample documents so we can fine-tune the model to your specific document formats. These are handled the same way as assessment documents — secure transfer, no retention beyond the project, no third-party sharing.
All communication about your build — scope documents, specifications, technical details — is kept confidential under the non-disclosure terms in our engagement agreement.
We operate on a strict need-to-know basis during builds. Only the people directly working on your system have access to your documents.

AFTER HANDOVER
After handover, Marapone has no access to your system whatsoever. The system runs on hardware you own, in a location you control. There are no outbound connections made during document processing — your documents are never transmitted anywhere.
Specifically:
- No telemetry. The system does not report usage statistics, error logs, or performance metrics to Marapone.
- No remote access. There is no remote login capability, no SSH access, no VPN tunnel retained by Marapone.
- No dependency on Marapone's infrastructure. If Marapone ceased to exist tomorrow, your system would continue operating exactly as it does today.
- Air-gapped deployment available. For clients with strict network isolation requirements, the Plus tier supports fully air-gapped installations with no internet connectivity required.

RETAINER SUPPORT
If you engage the optional retainer support after handover, any access to your system is scoped explicitly to the work agreed upon. We will clearly define what access is needed, for how long, and for what purpose — in writing — before any support work begins.
You can revoke access at any time. No persistent access is maintained between retainer engagements.

THIS WEBSITE
This website (marapone.com) collects minimal data. We use session cookies required for the site to function and Vercel's anonymous web analytics to measure page traffic. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling tools.
Form submissions (assessment requests) collect only what you provide — name, email, company, industry, and an optional file. This is used solely to process your request. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
