Comparison

MARAPONE
vs CHATGPT ENTERPRISE.

ChatGPT Enterprise is a remarkable general-purpose model. It writes great emails. It does not, on its own, automate your RFI workflow or stay aware of your specific projects. Here's the honest framing.

TL;DR

THREE BULLETS

When ChatGPT Enterprise is best

You want a powerful general assistant for your office staff to draft emails, summarize meetings, write proposals, brainstorm — across many topics, not just construction.

When Marapone is best

You want automation that ingests your specific project documents, runs end-to-end without copy-paste, and never sends those documents to a third party.

The honest middle

Many of our clients keep ChatGPT Enterprise for general writing and use Marapone for the workflows that touch sensitive project data. Different jobs, both useful.

When ChatGPT Enterprise is the better fit

Stick with ChatGPT if…

  • • Your AI use is mostly general — writing, brainstorming, summarizing.
  • • You're comfortable with cloud-based processing and OpenAI's enterprise terms.
  • • You don't need workflows that touch your full project data continuously.
  • • You want one tool for many tasks rather than a custom build.

When Marapone is the better fit

Pick Marapone if…

  • • You want automated workflows, not a chat box.
  • • You need to know no third-party AI vendor ever sees the drawings, and that nothing you upload trains a model.
  • • You want the AI to know your projects without re-explaining them every conversation.
  • • Per-seat pricing across a growing team no longer makes sense — ours is per firm.

Indicative numbers for a 30-user GC.

MARAPONE

$2,490/yr

All five live programs in your browser, five seats, billed yearly at ten months — or $249 a month with no commitment. $5,490/yr takes it to twenty seats with priority processing. Not everyone in a 30-person shop needs a seat; estimators and PMs do.

No implementation fee, no per-module pricing, no annual lock-in.

Year 1: $2,490 · Year 5: $2,490 — flat, priced per firm

CHATGPT ENTERPRISE (estimate)

~$60/seat/mo

OpenAI does not publish an Enterprise price — it is quote-only, and reported 2026 deals cluster around $45–$75 per user per month on annual commitments.1 If 30 seats is your whole company, note that Enterprise is generally sold at much larger minimums; ChatGPT Business is published at $20/user/month billed annually and may be the fairer comparison.2

30 seats × $60 × 12 = ~$21,600/yr, if you land at the middle of that range.

Year 1: ~$21,600 · Year 5: ~$108,000

* Different categories of tool. Many shops run both — the cost stack is additive, not either/or.
