AI Estimator, in order.

AI Estimator

Turn measured quantities into a priced bid you can defend line by line. Included from Solo upwards.

1. Bring the quantities

Import a takeoff from Blueprint Auditor, or type them. A second import updates the lines it already created rather than adding a duplicate set.

2. Price against your own rates

Your rates come first; the bundled catalog fills gaps, validates what you import and drives contingency. An override shows as your rate wherever it is used.

3. Set the markup, and say which it is

General conditions, contingency, overhead, profit, bond and insurance, in that order — and whether the profit figure is a markup on cost or a margin on the price.

4. Check the risk

The estimate carries its own rationale: where a number came from, which factor moved it, and what the history of your own jobs says about it.

5. Send it out

An Excel workbook with live formulas, and a proposal PDF under your own letterhead once you have set one.

What it will not do

  • It prices what it is given. A quantity that is wrong on the way in is wrong on the way out, priced convincingly.
  • The bundled catalog is Toronto-sourced. Elsewhere it is a starting point until your own rates replace it.
  • Nothing here submits a bid or signs anything.

Every program opens a sample set on the first day, so none of this has to be read before trying it. See the sample project.
